Knurled Inner & Outer Bead Seats
Every 9AND3 forged wheel is machined with knurled bead seats on both the inner and outer edges of the barrel. The precision-cut grooves grip the tire bead under extreme side load and at reduced air pressures — giving you the confidence of a beadlock without the added weight, hardware, or street-use restrictions.

Most wheels knurl only the outer bead seat, if at all. 9AND3 machines both the inner and outer seats, doubling the contact grip between the tire bead and wheel.
Run Lower PSI Without De-Beading
Airing down increases your tire's contact patch on loose terrain. The knurled grooves keep the tire bead locked in place at reduced pressures where a standard wheel would slip or de-bead.
No Beadlock Needed
